Guided by this concept, a new residential development has been brought to life.

For the entrance lobby, Tanihata’s Asanoha Chirashi “Cherry Blossom Lanterns “ kumiko design was selected. Seven kumiko panels are installed in a continuous horizontal row as illuminated feature walls, creating a welcoming entrance with a refined sense of elegance.

Inspired by the brilliance of fireworks, the design also incorporates the traditional Asanoha pattern, a motif long regarded in Japan as a symbol of protection against evil. Expressing the vibrant energy and festive spirit of Asakusa, the installation warmly welcomes both residents and visitors while celebrating the timeless beauty of Japanese craftsmanship.
