大航海時代、七つの海を制する国として成長したイギリスは19世紀に世界屈指の海洋国家となりましたが、その長い歴史で培われた海上交通力とテクノロジーはプリンセスヨットにも生かされ、世界のボートビルダーの模範となっています。
タニハタの組子＜七宝柄＞は、プリンセスヨット、クルーザー船内の装飾に使用されています。※組子のダークブラウン塗装は、イギリスで行っています。
Princess Yachts is a boat builder of the Louis Vuitton Group headquartered in the United Kingdom.
During the Age of Discovery, the United Kingdom grew to become the dominant power on the Seven Seas, and in the 19th century it became one of the world’s foremost maritime nations. The maritime transportation capabilities and technology developed over its long history have been applied to the Princess Yacht, which has become a role model for boatbuilders around the world.
TANIHATA’s Kumiko (cloisonne pattern) is used for decorations on board Princess Yacht and cruisers. The dark brown paint of Kumiko is done in England.
